Jayne Nagy has always been passionate about children and knew from a very young age that she was meant to be a mother. She graduated from a college program in infant and child development, during which time she worked with children with disabilities. She had a strong connection with these children, admiring their courage and strength. One of her favourite courses was children’s literature and she has always had a natural aptitude for singing, rhyming and teaching young children.

Jayne married the love of her life at 21 and had 4 beautiful children. She was happily married for 37.5 years. In 2020 her husband was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 6 months later. It was through her journey of recovery and dealing with grief that she rediscovered her love of writing children’s books. As she started writing, the words flowed so naturally and with such ease that she knew she had finally discovered her purpose in life. After a year of grieving, she felt joy again for the first time.

Jayne has now written over 20 books that she plans on publishing and loves to travel and spend time with her four children and their partners, and five grandchildren.

We Love Joy Inc. is a family affair. It started as just a dream two sisters giggled about on the phone. Nancy Corcoran is the author’s best friend and older sister. For as long as they can remember Jayne has been Nancy’s sidekick - just like Coco is to Ayla in ‘I’m Who I’m Meant to Be!’

Through tragedy, loss, and sorrow has come a new unexpected joy in We Love Joy Inc. Together with Jayne’s gift of writing and Nancy’s gift for getting things done, a new business was born. These books come from the heart and with the help of our amazing team - including Jayne and Nancy’s younger brother Michael and their daughters Katie, Megan & Jenna - we intend to touch the hearts of many and make a positive impact on children everywhere.

Henrique Rampazzo is a Brazilian designer who specializes in children’s book illustrations. Ever since his childhood, Henrique loved to draw and dreamed of a career illustrating books. Henrique was inspired to pursue his dream professionally while living in Central Asia. Henrique has illustrated several children’s books that can be found all over the world. His wish is that children all over the world can have access to beautifully illustrated books!
